STARTRADER Kicks Off 2026 University Program with AI Literacy Keynote
The CEO of STARTRADER, Peter Karsten, spoke to the academic staff and students at the University of Adelaide on the topic of basics of artificial intelligence, presenting his keynote address online within the frame of the session called “AI Starter”. This lecture is but one of the attempts by STARTRADER to invest into young people’s education in artificial intelligence and future-proof skills.
Built For Non-Technical Audience
Among the best research centers in Australia, the University of Adelaide boasts over 56,000 students on its rolls. Peter Karsten’s lecture was attended by both undergraduate and postgraduate students regardless of their academic major as long as they lack expertise in technology. Mr. Karsten will talk about how AI affects our lives currently, why understanding AI is essential for any person irrespective of their professional background, and how young professionals should become accustomed to new technologies.
Such a decision is fully understandable in terms of STARTRADER’s primary activity. After all, artificial intelligence changes trading platforms and client’s behavior, and investing into students’ knowledge in this respect seems to be only a logical continuation of STARTRADER’s activities.

“AI is no longer an area for specialists only. It’s a component that is bound to shape industries within the next couple of years,” Mr. Karsten explained. “And in addition to us being able to make use of these technologies, we should enable the younger generation to feel comfortable working with them. This is very important in their stage of careers.”

What’s Next
