STARTRADER has completed the transformation of a 28×15m basketball court at the District 10 Children’s House in Vietnam, creating a fully operational facility now serving over 10,000 young learners annually. The initiative, delivered under STAR Foundation’s vision “Where Tomorrow’s STARs Begin,” turns an underutilized area into a structured environment built for daily use, development, and opportunity.
From a Basic Space to a Place That Inspires
Unveiled during the turnover ceremony on April 19, the upgraded court replaces a previously basic setup with a professionally finished surface, clear markings, and an improved layout designed for safe and consistent use.
STARTRADER, official partner of the NBA, brought that space to life during the ceremony with basketballs, jerseys, and school supplies distributed to students. A team-based game and shared moments between students and organizers turned the handover into more than a milestone; it became the starting point of a new daily experience.
A Court That’s Already Making a Difference
Since completion, the court has quickly become part of everyday life. Students are now engaging more actively in group play, training sessions, and organized activities, creating a more dynamic and motivating environment for growth.
The District 10 Children’s House, a long-standing community hub for children aged 7 to 15, continues to play a vital role in shaping young minds through classes, clubs, and competitions that build creativity, discipline, and real-life skills. The upgraded court now strengthens that mission by providing a space that supports both physical activity and confidence-building.
