STARTRADER, an official NBA partner, has completed the redevelopment of a multi purpose basketball court at Ban Nam Lat School in Sukhothai Province, Thailand. The project transforms a previously underutilized space into a structured and high quality sports facility designed for consistent use and long term value.
This initiative, led by STARTRADER in line with the STAR Foundation’s slogan “Where Tomorrow STARS Begin,” reflects a clear goal: creating environments where potential can take shape early.
The new 18×12m basketball court replaces a basic, unmarked concrete area with a professionally finished playing surface supported by clear court markings, an improved layout, and essential sports equipment. The result is a functional environment that enables regular activity, supports skill development, and encourages organized play within a safe setting.
Designed for Daily Use and Community Impact
The impact of the project extends beyond infrastructure. Nearly 100 students aged 4 to 12 now benefit directly from daily access to the facility. Additionally, surrounding communities, including Ban Wong Bo and Ban Nam Lat, are also able to use the space outside school hours. This positions the court as a reliable hub for physical activity and community engagement.
Since its completion, the facility has already become part of daily routines. Students and residents are actively using the court, confirming its immediate relevance and practical value as a shared community space. This early adoption reflects a clear alignment between the project and the needs of its users.
As STARTRADER CEO Peter Karsten explains, the focus goes beyond construction: “This project is about creating a space that supports long-term use, encourages development, and provides lasting value beyond the initial build.”
