Gold Rebounds Above $4,300 Ahead of the Fed's Policy Decision

Gold Technical Analysis

Gold is showing a short-term bullish recovery, trading around $4,327 after rebounding sharply from the $4,253 low. The recent strong green candles indicate renewed buying momentum, although price is now approaching resistance.

Immediate resistance is around $4,341–$4,350, followed by $4,369 and the previous swing high near $4,402. On the downside, $4,305–$4,298 is the first support zone, followed by $4,287 and $4,253. A sustained break above $4,350 would strengthen the recovery, while rejection around this area could trigger a pullback toward the moving-average support. Overall, the short-term bias has shifted bullish, but confirmation above $4,350 is important.

Brent Technical Analysis

Brent crude remains in a consolidation phase with a mildly bearish short-term bias, trading around $108.48 after retreating from the recent $110.42 high. The moving averages MA(5), MA(10), and MA(20) have flattened, reflecting the loss of momentum following the previous rally.

The key resistance remains $109.15–$110.42. A sustained break above $110.42 would restore stronger bullish momentum and potentially expose $110.80–$112. On the downside, $108.07 is the first support, followed by the more important $106.55 area. A break below $106.55 would increase the risk of a deeper correction toward $104.42. For now, the chart suggests range-bound trading, with the $106.55–$110.42 range defining the broader short-term structure.

Nasdaq Technical Analysis

The Nasdaq 100 is showing a neutral-to-bullish short-term recovery, trading around 29,068 after rebounding from the recent low of 28,828. Price is now above the moving averages MA(5), MA(10), MA(20), suggesting that short-term momentum has improved and the moving averages are beginning to converge.

The immediate resistance zone is around 29,167, with a stronger barrier near 29,313. A break above 29,167 could allow the recovery to extend toward 29,313–29,350, while the previous high around 29,506 remains the major upside reference. On the downside, 29,000–28,980 is the first support area, followed by 28,828. A break below the latter would invalidate the current recovery structure. Overall, the bias is slightly bullish, but the index needs to clear 29,167 to establish stronger upside momentum.
