STARTRADER Breaks Ground on New Basketball Court for Thai School, Empowering Youth Through Sports
STARTRADER, a world-class broker, marked the beginning of a new project today by laying the foundation for a multi-purpose basketball court at Ban Nam Lat School in Sukhothai Province, which is the flagship project of the company’s “Build Tomorrow’s Players Through Sports” corporate social responsibility program.
The 18×12-meter court, expected to be completed and opened on February 16, will benefit close to 100 students aged 4 to 12 years old. But it won’t stop there, as the court will also be open to the use of residents from the nearby villages of Ban Wong Bo and Ban Nam Lat.
To further support the students, STARTRADER will also donate sports equipment to the school so that the students will have what it takes to hone their skills and experience the joy of teamwork firsthand.
“STARTRADER’s goal is to make a difference, and this time through sports,” said Peter Karsten, CEO of STARTRADER. “Giving the youth in Thailand the chance to improve their skills and build their confidence, discipline, and teamwork.”
The project comes on the heels of the company’s forays into partnerships with world-class sports brands, which were forged on the principles of excellence, precision, and discipline.
