Today Technical Analysis: Intense selling on gold brings the precious metal down to $4,105

Gold Technical Analysis

Gold remains under short-term bearish pressure, trading around $4,131 after another decline toward $4,104. Price is below the three moving averages MA5, MA10 and MA20, while the moving averages remain bearishly aligned.

Immediate support is at $4,104, followed by $4,093. On the upside, resistance is around $4,145, followed by $4,165–$4,175 and the stronger $4,200–$4,225 zone.

The recent price action shows repeated selling pressure and lower highs. A sustained break below $4,104 would strengthen the bearish outlook, while reclaiming $4,165–$4,175 would be the first sign of meaningful recovery.

Brent Technical Analysis

Brent crude is showing a bearish short-term structure, trading around $104.14 after falling from the $108.43 area. Price is below the MA5, MA10 and MA20, with the short-term averages turning lower.

Immediate support is around $103.27, followed by the recent low near $101.95. Resistance is around $105.20, followed by $106.00–$107.10.

The latest strong bearish candle reinforces the downside pressure. Unless Brent can reclaim $105.20, the technical bias remains bearish, with a break below $103.27 potentially exposing the $101.95 area.
