Join the STAR Trading League by STARTRADER, an NBA-inspired global trading tournament where every trade counts and timing makes the difference.
STARTRADER, an official NBA partner, is launching the STAR Trading League, a global trading tournament designed to challenge how traders perform under real pressure. Inspired by the intensity and timing of professional basketball, the competition puts strategy, consistency, and execution at the center of experience.
Registration from 11 to 28 May marks the start of a competitive journey for 30 teams, as the tournament launches on 1 June and runs through 31 July. With each stage demanding precision and performance, the competition builds toward the championship announcement on 3 August.
Three Stages. One Goal: Stay in the Game
Traders from around the world compete across three stages: Toss, Knockout, and Buzzer-Beater, where strategy, timing, and performance determine who advances.
Toss Stage – Regular Season (1 June – 3 July)
The competition begins with 30 teams competing simultaneously, all starting on equal footing;
- Traders establish their rhythm and define their approach;
- Early performance sets the tone for what comes next;
- Strong positioning here can create a clear advantage going forward.
Knockout Stage (6 – 17 July)
The field begins to narrow as performance takes center stage;
- Playoff (6 – 10 July): 16 teams competing simultaneously, where focus sharpens and only stronger performers move forward;
- Quarter Finals (13 –17 July): 8 teams competing simultaneously, and every decision carries more weight as consistency becomes essential.
Buzzer-Beater Stage (20 July – 31 July)
The final stretch, where only top-performing teams remain;
- Semi Finals (20 July – 24 July): 4 teams competing simultaneously under peak pressure, where composure and precision are critical;
- MVP Finals (27 – 31 July): The final 2 teams face off for the title, where timing, discipline, and execution define the winner;
At this stage, the difference is no longer in participation—it’s in precision.
More Than a Tournament
Beyond competition, the STAR Trading League is built to reward performance at every stage, recognizing traders who demonstrate consistency, discipline, and precision. As the tournament progresses toward its final phase, the stakes rise, culminating in one winning team.
Within that team, the top two-ranked traders may be eligible for premium rewards, including NBA game tickets, a STARTRADER exclusive basketball, an NBA Store voucher, and a $10,000 cash prize, closing the competition on a high-performance note.
