Daily Technical Analysis | Oil prices jump as Brent reaches highest level since last May

Brent Technical Analysis

Brent crude is trading at $111.70. The latest price action show the recovery continuing toward $111.70, suggesting that demand has returned after the sharp correction.

The moving averages are beginning to support the rebound indicating improving short-term momentum. However, the bullish structure is not yet as strong as it would be with a clearer separation between the averages.

Immediate support lies around $111.20–$111.00, followed by $110.30. A break below $110.30 would weaken the recovery and could expose the $109.00 area. On the upside, resistance stands around $112.15, followed by the recent high of $113.41 A sustained move above $113.41 would strengthen the bullish outlook and potentially open the way toward $114.00. Overall, Brent has a cautiously bullish short-term bias while it remains above $111.00 but the market needs to clear $112.15 and then $113.41 to confirm a stronger continuation.

Gold Technical Analysis

Gold is trading at $4,113. Although price attempted to stabilize during the previous session, the recovery was limited, and prices have returned toward the recent low of $4,106.

The moving averages confirm the bearish structure. Their configuration indicates persistent downside momentum.

Immediate support lies at the psychological level $4,100, followed by $4,077 and $4,050. A decisive break below $4,106 could extend the decline toward 4,100 or lower. On the upside, initial resistance lies around 4,132 followed by $4,155 and $4,178. A sustained move above $4,132 would be an early sign of stabilization, while a break above $4,155 would provide stronger evidence that bearish momentum is easing.

Overall, gold remains bearish while it trades below the $4,122–$4,125 resistance zone, and any recovery should be treated as corrective until the price structure improves.

Dow Jones Technical Analysis

Dow Jones is trading at 52,586. This follows a sharp upward move reflecting that buyers are holding on to much of their gains, although the index has not yet broken above its recent high.

The moving averages support a cautiously bullish outlook. Volume expanded during the sharp advance and subsequently declined, indicating that the initial buying impulse has weakened as the market approaches resistance.

Immediate support lies around 52,510, followed by 52,490 and the broader 52,300 area. Resistance is located around 52,662–52,752, with the latter marking the recent high. A decisive break above 52,752 could open the way toward 52,830 and higher levels. Conversely, a move below 52,490 would weaken the bullish structure, while a break below 52,300 would suggest a deeper correction.
